This project seeks to depict with visual sensitivity the residents of politically-conservative, rural America. I hope to challenge the liberal onlooker (that includes me) to acknowledge the common humanity—the good, the bad, and the ugly—in us all, regardless of our beliefs, backgrounds, or perspectives.
